Pets and Fluoride

 in response to Anora Eldorath...   Thank you Sunny is doing great considering his creatine levels were bad off until he got the IV's but I know for that week especially the last days he suffered badly. I try not to think about it as a blood test at the first visit would have nailed the problem...I am trying to forgive the vet for not doing a better job in the beginning but when a animal or person suffers due to a proffessional not doing the job right it is hard to swallow the outcome.

Boiling gets rid of the Chlrorine but it does not rid the water of fluoride. Most bottle waters also have fluoride in it, so you need to look for water that has been through reverse osmosis (one way of getting rid of fluoride). I hope your little bundle of fuzz is doing well now.

Someone suggested bottled water for my cat after kidney failure but the vet never said anything. Tap water besides flouride has chlorine in it. I rather boil the water for him. Thanks for the article...
